Wiki Access Instructions

The SVWUX Wiki access control is managed by Slauth, the SBAY Local Authentication System software which allows mail list users to self-register for web access.

In order to participate in the SVWUX Wiki, you need to subscribe to one of SVWUX's mail lists first.

Then you can register for web access. Then fill in the TWikiRegistration form because the TWiki software wants to know you.

Note that you'll need to allow svwux.org to set cookies for your authentication to work. MSIE users may also need to set svwux.org as a trusted site.

What is a Wiki?

A Wiki is a web site that users can edit with their browsers. A full description of the concept is available at Wikipedia, an encyclopedia web site which is itself a Wiki.

This particular site uses the TWiki software, originally written by Peter Thoeny and now with thousands of contributors.
