General Announcements
  • The wiki software and authentication have been upgraded. You can sign up for an SBAY Web Account to edit it.
  • Bullet on 24 dB antenna can reach LGH from downtown Mountain View. Mountain View is exploring how to affix such an installation.
  • Nanostation 5 installed at L42 pointing to Santa Clara City EOC. Link pending install at the EOC end, but it is approved in principle.
  • L42-SJCEOC upgraded to Bullet M2's. Data rate now about 2 Mbps, up from 800 Kbps.
  • Los Gatos Hills site upgrade completed Nov 7. About 75 dBm, 700Kbps down, 1200kbps up to SJCEOC. Mountain View/Cupertino vector also live, but no station was yet available to test with.
  • Another link was up from SJCEOC to Evergreen area San Jose, 7.5 miles, 0.6 Mbps. Temporarily dismantled to advance a radio for LGH install.
  • A SipXecs server has been installed on a virtual server at SJCEOC. Unfortunately, it is not IPv6 capable so is only available internally.
  • Most equipment has been native IPv6 enabled.
