Summary of the SJSU Radio Club and FARS presentations
Both presentations went well. Approximately 10 people were at the SJSU presentation and 30 people at the FARS presentation. It was well received!
Summary of the Wireless Warrior Weekend
Approximately 25 people showed up at the Wireless Warrior Weekend on October 28, 2006. The topic was the Incident Command System. Based on a course survey given out at the end, lots of people ranked it as a 4 or 5 out of 5 -- very good! Chris plans on running another class dealing with advanced ICS topics (IS-200 and IS-700) at some point in the next few months.

- construction and maintenance of wireless networking systems in and around Silicon Valley,
- use of wireless networking in emergency communications, preparedness and recovery,
- expanding our members' technical knowledge and practical experience with wireless networking, and
- using our wireless networking skills to benefit the community.
A STV vote will be posted for no less than 7 days (as per the SVWUX charter). A simple majority vote is required to adopt the policy.
