General Announcements Site photo survey conducted of three San Jose Water tank locations. Two Ubiquity Bullet 2's were tested at 7.5km using flat panel and a grill parabolic with a successful and apparently reliable connection at approximately 1 MB/s. Problem was encountered in Nanostation 5 modification but remedy is underway.

Time

1st Thursdays of the month from 7:30PM to 9:30PM.

The room we usually use at Google has conference call in capability. If for some reason you are unable to attend in person but would still like to participate, contact someone attending to be provided with the call in telephone number.

If we're meeting at a restaurant and you're getting food at the restaurant, please try to arrive early.

Use Rengstorff or Shoreline from 101 or to cross 101 from Central Expressway. Bldg 43 is on Charleston in the Googleplex. Our host is Warren Turkal - you'll need to meet him at the lobby to get a Google visitor badge to come in.

Wi-Fi availability: Google has Wi-Fi - and they let visitors use it too.

We usually try to have at least one member gateway Wi-Fi to a cell modem when we meet anywhere that we don't have public WiFi access.

Transit availability: There does not seem to be a very good answer for mass transit available at the Google site. Call one of us for a ride from the Mtn View train station.
